Episode 1 - First Cut

Hello Frightners.

They say the first cut is the deepest and with this our first episode it surely was! At over an hour long there was so much to absorb and listen to, it was a haunt filled fang-tastic ride through the underworld!

With so much content to take in we wanted to provide you an episode outline of all the segments. So how does the outline work you ask?

Below you will find each segment listed in the order they can be heard on the show. A time code will be provided for where in the episode they can be found in case you want to listen to them in your own order. We will also supply all the links, videos and pictures discussed within each segment.

It is our hope that this will enhance your user experience with Fright Radio. If you have any questions or comments each month about a specific segment please post them in the comments section and we will do our best to answer.

So without further delay the outline for Fright Radio's "First Cut."

Fade To Black with Ghoulish Cop - Time Code 3:35
Ghoulish Cop dives into the use of color in our haunts. Maybe our scenes do not always have to depict the greys, blues and blacks that Hollywood often depicts in its verisons of the zombie apocolypse and other horror films. As things age with time and neglect they often still retain some of the original color though in a more diminished view. Perhaps we can apply this direction to our haunts???

Hello Frighteners.

Welcome to the Fright Radio Blog! It's been a month now since Fright Radio "The First Cut" launched on Podomatic & iTunes and I can happily say it was a successful launch! We have had over 700 downloads since our launch and many kind words about the show and needless to say I was overwhelmed by the response!

In an effort to continue to bring our listeners some great content the decision was made to start this blog as a tool which will allow you to further immerse yourself in each of the Fright Radio segments as well as it being a way to provide a new user experience.

With each shows launch you will be able to come to the Fright Radio Blog for a run down of that months segments. A time code of where each segment is within the show will be given and any links, videos, or pictures discussed in the segments will all be provided for you. Consider the Fright Radio Blog your one stop shop for the show and a real time listening and viewing experience.

Moving forward, we will do our best to continue to improve upon the blog and it's design as well as offerings. We hope to provide you some fun downloads (desktop pictures, screensavers, games) to keep you in the Halloween spirit throughout the year as well as some Fright Radio one off episodes like our 5 Minutes of Fear where we will give a 5 minute rundown on various haunt related topics such as lighting design ideas, props tutorials, and much more.

As it is with anything new we are learning on the job and there will be some expected hiccups along the way but we are open to your feedback and suggestions and will do our best to make Fright Radio a user friendly and fun experience for everyone! If you would like to reach out to us about the show you may do so at frightradiopodcast@gmail.com

Happy Haunting.
